85 FILMS is a collaboration firmly focused on developing original feature films. We work alongside writers and producers on a slate of projects. MATT FREETH is an established music video director living in Bristol, England. After editing videos for Kula Shaker and The Killers, he directed promos for The Editors ‘Blood’ and Mystery Jets ‘Boy Who Ran Away’, which reached #1 in the MTV2 Chart in 2006. He has appeared in the NME and on MTV.com. His latest work, the science-fiction short film ‘Luke & The Void’, was funded by the UK Film Council’s Digital Shorts scheme, and is currently being submitted to festivals around the world. MATTHEW REDD worked in the music industry, both in artist management and record label management, with his acts appearing on BBC Radio One and touring worldwide. After studying an MA in Film Producing & Business Management at Skillset Screen Academy Wales, he went on to train on CYFLE’s 12 month Film Scheme. He co-produced the comedy feature 'Big Font. Large Spacing', which recently completed post-production. He has previously worked at Tornado Films in Port Talbot, Wales as associate producer, developing a slate of feature films.
